టెలిస్కోపు

టెలిస్కోపు (ఆంగ్లం Telescope), సుదూర ప్రాంతాలలో వున్న శరీరాలను పరిశీలించుటకు, 'విద్యుదయస్కాంత రేడియేషన్' లను సేకరించుటకు ఉపయోగిందు సాధనం. 'టెలిస్కోపు' పదానికి మూలం 'గ్రీకుభాష', టెలి అనగా 'సుదూరం', స్కోపు అనగా 'వీక్షణం' లేక 'దర్శనం', క్లప్తంగా "దూరవీక్షణి" లేదా "దూరదర్శిని".[1].
