పరమ వీర చక్ర అనేది భారతదేశంలో యుద్ధంలో అత్యున్నత ధైర్యసాహసాలు ప్రదర్శించిన సైనికులకు ఇచ్చే ఒక పురస్కారం. పరమవీర అంటే యోధానుయోధుడు అని సంస్కృత అర్థం.
