70 లో గోమతం భారతదేశం యొక్క అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయం తమ సాఫ్ట్ వేర్ అభివృద్ధి ప్రాజెక్టులు కోసం పనిచేశాడు. తరువాత అతను USA వెళ్లి ఆపరేటింగ్ సిస్టమ్ డిజైన్, డేటా కమ్యూనికేషన్, చాలా పెద్ద డేటాబేస్ రూపకల్పన ప్రాంతాల్లో జనరల్ మోటార్స్, ఫోర్డ్, క్రిస్లర్, బురఫ్స్, ఐ బి ఎమ్ సహా ఫార్చ్యూన్ -500 సంస్థలు అనేక కోసం ఒక ఫ్రీలాన్స్ సలహాదారుడిగా పనిచేశారు.
