వెర్రి పుచ్చ లేదా ఏటి పుచ్చ (Citrullus colocynthis, commonly known as the colocynth, bitter apple, bitter cucumber, egusi, or vine of Sodom ( Sanskrit : Gavakshi गवाक्षी, Indarvaruni इंद्रवारूणी[1]), పుష్పించే మొక్కలలో కుకుర్బిటేసి కుటుంబానికి చెందిన ఎగబ్రాకే మొక్క. ఇది మధ్యధరా సముద్రం మరియు ఆసియా ప్రాంతానికి చెందినది. దీని శాస్త్రీయ నామం : Colocynthis citrullus, ఇప్పుడు Citrullus colocynthis అని వర్గీకరించారు.
