సిరా (Ink) కలం మొదలైన వ్రాత పరికరాలలో ఉపయోగించే రంగు ద్రవం.

An ink is a liquid containing various pigments and/or dyes used for coloring a surface to produce an image, text, or design. Ink is used for drawing and/or writing with a pen, brush or quill. Thicker inks, in paste form, are used extensively in letterpress and lithographic printing.

Ink is a complex medium consisting of comprising solvents, pigments, dyes, resins, lubricants, solubilizers, surfactants, particulate matter, fluorescers, and other materials. The components of inks serve many purposes; the ink’s carrier, colorants, and other additives are used to control flow, thickness, and appearance of the ink when dry.

ఇండియన్ ఇంక్

ఇండియన్ ఇంక్ అనేది అనేక రకాల శిరాల్లో ఒకటి. ఇండియన్ ఇంక్‌గా పేరొందిన ఈ శిరా బొమ్మలు గీయటానికి, ముఖ్యంగా కార్టూన్లు గీయటానికి వాడతారు.

ఇండియన్ ఇంక్ గా పేరొందిన ఈ శిరా చైనాలో తయారయినప్పటికీ, యూరోపుకు ఇండీస్ నుండి ఎగుమతి కావటం వల్ల ఈ శిరాకు ఇండియన్ ఇంక్ అన్న పేరొచ్చింది.ఘన పధార్ధంగా దీనిని చైనీస్ ఇంక్ గానే పిలుస్తారు. ఇండియాకు ఇండియన్ ఇంక్ కు సంబంధం లేదు.
