అశోక్ కుమార్ రాయ్ కర్ణాటక రాష్ట్రానికి చెందిన రాజకీయ నాయకుడు. ఆయన 2023 శాసనసభ ఎన్నికలలో పుత్తూరు శాసనసభ నియోజకవర్గం నుండి ఎమ్మెల్యేగా ఎన్నికయ్యాడు.[1]
రాజకీయ జీవితం
[మార్చు]అశోక్ కుమార్ రాయ్ కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ద్వారా రాజకీయాల్లోకి వచ్చి పార్టీలో వివిధ హోదాల్లో పని చేసి 2023 శాసనసభ ఎన్నికలలో పుత్తూరు శాసనసభ నియోజకవర్గం నుండి ఐఎన్‌సీ అభ్యర్థిగా పోటీ చేసి బీజేపీ అభ్యర్థి అరుణ్ కుమార్ పుతిలపై 4,149 ఓట్ల మెజారిటీతో గెలిచి తొలిసారి ఎమ్మెల్యేగా ఎన్నికయ్యాడు.[2][3] అశోక్ కుమార్ రాయ్ కు 66,607 ఓట్లు రాగా, బీజేపీ అభ్యర్థి అరుణ్ కుమార్ పుతిలకు 62,458 ఓట్లు వచ్చాయి.[4][5]
