ఆచార్య ప్రతిష్ట (జననం ప్రతిష్టా శర్మ) ఒక భారతీయ యోగా గురువు. కథక్ నర్తకి, గురువు కూడా అయిన ఆమె రచయిత, మాజీ దౌత్యవేత్త.[3] ఆమె మోక్షాతాన్ యోగ సంస్థాన్ కు డైరెక్టర్.[4]

ఆమె యోగా అంతర్జాతీయంగా ప్రచారంలో బాగంగా ప్రభుత్వ ప్రాజెక్టులలో క్రమం తప్పకుండా పాల్గొంటుంది.[5][6][7][8][9] ఆమె అనేక అంశాలపై మాట్లాడుతుంది.[10][11] ఆమె భారత ప్రభుత్వ ఆయుష్ మంత్రి ఏర్పాటు చేసిన డయాబెటిస్ పై యోగా ప్రోటోకాల్ కమిటీలో సభ్యురాలు.[12][13][14][15][16] ఆమె గుర్తింపుపొందిన కథక్ నర్తకి. దేశంలోనూ, విదేశాలలోనూ అనేక ఉత్సవాలలో ఆమె ప్రదర్శనలు ఇచ్చింది.[17][18][19][20]

ఆచార్య ప్రతిష్ట కథక్, యోగ లపై 5 పుస్తకాలు రాసింది.[21] ఆమె మొదటి పుస్తకం 25 సంవత్సరాల వయస్సులో "డయాబెటీస్, వై డై-ఎ-బిట్-ఈజ్?" ప్రచురించబడింది. ఆమె బహాసా ఇండోనేషియాపై మొదటి ద్విభాషా పుస్తకం, ఇండోనేషియాలోని భారత రాయబార కార్యాలయం, విదేశాంగ మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ ప్రచురించిన ఆంగ్ల "ఎసెన్షియల్ ఎలిమెంట్స్ ఆఫ్ కథక్ " రాసింది.

యోగా, కథక్ గురువు

ఆచార్య ప్రతీష్ట ఒక యోగ,[5] కథక్ నృత్యం ఎక్స్పోనెంట్.[22] ఆమె భారతీయ సంస్కృతి, మృదువైన దౌత్యానికి నిపుణురాలు.[23] భారత ప్రభుత్వానికి చెందిన ప్రపంచంలోనే అతిపెద్ద భారతీయ సంస్కృతి కేంద్రం డైరెక్టర్ గా పనిచేసింది. ఇది హై కమిషన్ ఇండియా మారిషస్ లో నిర్వహిస్తోంది.[24] ఆమె జకార్తాలోని భారత రాయబార కార్యాలయం ఇండియన్ కల్చర్ సెంటర్ లో పోస్ట్ చేసింది.[25] ప్రముఖ టీవీ కార్యక్రమాలలో యోగా, కథక్ ప్రదర్శించింది. ఆమె ఈ అంశంపై పుస్తకాలు రాసింది. ఆమె అనేక భారత ప్రభుత్వ యోగా, సంస్కృతి కమిటీలలో సభ్యురాలు.[26][27][28]

అంతర్జాతీయ ఆయుర్వేద సమ్మాన్-అసోసియేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఆయుర్వేద ఫిజిషియన్, GOM, మారిషస్ ద్వారా ఆమెకు "అంతర్జాతీయ ఆయుర్వేద సమ్మానం" లభించింది.[29][30]

ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ లోని షహరాన్‌పూర్ లో జన్మించిన ప్రతిష్ట శర్మ ఆచార్య ప్రతిష్ట పేరుతో గుర్తింపు తెచ్చుకుంది. ఆమె స్వామి డాక్టర్ భరత్ భూషణ్ (యోగి) కుమార్తె. ఆమె ఢిల్లీ విశ్వవిద్యాలయం నుండి గ్రాడ్యుయేషన్, ఇందిరా కళా సంగీత విశ్వవిద్యాలయం నుండి పోస్ట్ గ్రాడ్యుఏషన్ పూర్తి చేసింది. ఆమెకు వివాహం జరిగి, ఒక కుమార్తె ఉంది.
