ఫిలింఫేర్ మ్యాగజైన్ ప్రతి సంవత్సరం తన ఫిలింఫేర్ అవార్డ్స్ సౌత్ వేడుకలో భాగంగా మలయాళ సినిమాలోని అత్యుత్తమ నటుడిని సత్కరిస్తూ ఫిలింఫేర్ అవార్డులను ప్రదానం చేస్తుంది. ఈ అవార్డు 1972లో స్థాపించబడింది, దీనిని జ్యూరీ నిర్ణయిస్తుంది.
