కేస్రోలి కొండ కోట భారతదేశంలోని రాజస్థాన్లోని అల్వార్ జిల్లాలో ఉన్న 14వ శతాబ్దపు కోట. ఇది ఇప్పుడు నీమ్రానా హోటల్స్ గ్రూప్ ద్వారా నిర్వహించబడుతున్న ఒక హెరిటేజ్ హోటల్. దాని బురుజులు , ప్రాకారాలు, వంపు వరండాలకు ప్రసిద్ధి చెందింది. నేడు భారతదేశంలోని ఉత్తమ హెరిటేజ్ హోటళ్లలో ఒకటిగా పరిగణించబడుతుంది.[1][2]
చరిత్ర
[మార్చు]దీనిని 14వ శతాబ్దంలో రాజస్థాన్ వారసులు అని చెప్పబడే రాజులు నిర్మించారు.[3][4][5] 14వ శతాబ్దం మధ్యలో ఇస్లాం మతంలోకి మారిన తరువాత ఈ కోటను ఖాన్జాదాలు ఆక్రమించారు.[6]
శతాబ్దాలుగా, ఏడు గోపురాల కోట చాలాసార్లు చేతులు మారింది. చివరకు 1775లో అల్వార్ సంస్థానాన్ని స్థాపించిన సమయంలో ఇది రాజపుత్రుల చేతుల్లోకి తిరిగి వచ్చింది.[7] ఈ కోటకు రాణావత్ ఠాకూర్ భవానీ సింగ్ (1882-1934) ఆధ్వర్యంలో స్వర్ణ కాలం తెలుసు.[8]
సహ యజమానులు అమన్ నాథ్, ఫ్రాన్సిస్ వాక్జియార్గ్ ఆధ్వర్యంలో, 1995లో ప్రారంభమైన ఖచ్చితమైన పునరుద్ధరణ 1998లో ముగింపు దశగా 2000 వరకు కొనసాగింది, 14వ శతాబ్దపు రాతి, టరెట్లు, ప్రాకారాలు, వంపు వరండాల పరిరక్షణను ఆధునిక ఆతిథ్య మౌలిక సదుపాయాల ఏకీకరణతో సమతుల్యం చేసింది 2004లో, ఈ కోటను వారసత్వ సంస్థ నీమ్రానా హోటళ్లకు వింగ్ కమాండర్ లీజుకు ఇచ్చారు.[9] మంగల్ సింగ్ తదనంతరం, దీనిని సమూహం సహ-యజమానులు, పునరుద్ధరణకర్తలు, అమన్ నాథ్, ఫ్రాన్సిస్ వాక్జియార్గ్ పునరుద్ధరించారు.[10][11]
ఆర్కిటెక్చర్
[మార్చు]స్రోలి కొండ కోట 14వ శతాబ్దానికి చెందిన రాజపుత్రుల బలమైన కోట. ఇది ముదురు రంగు హార్న్స్టోన్ బ్రెసియాపై నిర్మించబడింది, దీని ఏడు బురుజులు, ప్రాకారాలు చుట్టుపక్కల ఉన్న వ్యవసాయ భూమి కంటే 50–65 మీటర్ల ఎత్తులో ఉన్నాయి.[12] పునరుద్ధరణ సమయంలో దాని వరుసలుగా పేర్చిన ఇసుకరాయి ప్రాకారాలు, వంపు తిరిగిన వరండాలు, ఎత్తైన వంపు తిరిగిన ద్వారాలను సంరక్షించారు. అదే సమయంలో, లోపలి భాగాలలో అసలైన పాతదనాలు, సున్నపు అతుకులను అతిగా శుభ్రపరచకుండా, తగిన వలసవాద, దేశీయ ఫర్నిచర్ను అమర్చారు.[13] ప్రస్తుతం, కేస్రోలి కొండ కోట 31 గదుల హోటల్గా ఉంది.[14]
