చకత్ అబోహ్ అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్రానికి చెందిన రాజకీయ నాయకురాలు. ఆమె అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్ శాసనసభకు ఖోన్సా వెస్ట్ శాసనసభ నియోజకవర్గం నుండి రెండుసార్లు ఎమ్మెల్యేగా ఎన్నికైంది.[1][2]
రాజకీయ జీవితం
[మార్చు]చకత్ అబోహ్ తన భర్త టిరోంగ్ అబోహ్ మరణాంతరం రాజకీయాల్లోకి వచ్చి 2019లో ఖోన్సా వెస్ట్ శాసనసభ నియోజకవర్గానికి జరిగిన ఉప ఎన్నికలో స్వతంత్ర అభ్యర్థిగా పోటీ చేసి తన సమీప ప్రత్యర్థి స్వతంత్ర అభ్యర్థి అజెట్ హోమ్టాక్ పై 1,887 ఓట్లతో ఓడించి తొలిసారి ఎమ్మెల్యేగా ఎన్నికైంది.[3] ఆమె ఆ తరువాత 2024 మార్చి 4న భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీలో చేరి,[4] 2024 అరుణాచల్ ప్రదేశ్ శాసనసభ ఎన్నికలలో బీజేపీ అభ్యర్థిగా పోటీ చేసి తన సమీప ప్రత్యర్థి ఎన్సీపీ అభ్యర్థి యాంగ్ సేన్ మాటీని 804 ఓట్లతో ఓడించి రెండోసారి ఎమ్మెల్యేగా ఎన్నికైంది.[5][6][7][8][9]
