జీశాట్ -7ఏ అనునది ఇస్రో తయారు చేసిన సమాచార ఉపగ్రహం.సాధారణంగా సమాచార ఉపగ్రహాలు డిటిఎచ్ ప్రసారాలు, ఇంటర్నేట్ ప్రసారలను పెంపెందించేతందుకు ఉపయోగిస్తారు.కాని జీశాట్ -7ఏ ఉపగ్రహాం మాత్రం అడ్వాన్సుడ్ మిలిటరి కమ్యూనికేసను/సమాచార ఉపగ్రహంగా పని చేస్తుందని ఇస్రో చెప్పినది.ఉపగ్రహంబరువు 2250 కిలోలు.[4].GSAT-7Aఅనేది అధునాతన సైనిక సమాచార ఉపగ్రహము, ఇది ప్రత్యేకంగా భారత వైమానిక దళం కొరకు ఉద్దేశించబడింది.[5]
