జెఫ్రీ నాథ్ భాస్కర్ (జననం మార్చి 4,1974) లాస్ ఏంజిల్స్ ఉన్న ఒక అమెరికన్ పాటల నిర్మాత , పాటల రచయిత, అనేక వాయిద్యాలలో ఆరితేరిన వాడు. .[2] అతను 2013, 2016 లలో గ్రామీ అవార్డు కి నామినేట్ చేయబడి, 2016 లో " సంవత్సరపు పాటల నిర్మాత " గా అవార్డు పొందాడు. .

తొలి జీవితం
[మార్చు]భాస్కర్ కాన్సాస్ రాష్ట్రంలోని కాన్సాస్ సిటీ లో జన్మించారు. తర్వాత న్యూ మెక్సికోలోని సోకోరోలో పెరిగారు.[5][6] అమెరికా దేశానికి చెందిన అతని తల్లి ఒక పియానిస్ట్ కాగా, భారతదేశంలో జన్మించిన అతని తండ్రి రవి భాస్కర్, తెలుగు వాడు, ఒక వైద్యుడు. ఆయన 24 సంవత్సరాలకు పైగా సోకోరో పట్టణానికి మేయర్ గా పనిచేసాదు. భాస్కర్ కు జాజ్ ను అతని తల్లి, అతని పియానో గురువు, పరిచయం చేశారు.[7] అతను సోకోరో హైస్కూల్లో జాజ్ బ్యాండ్లో చేరి సాధన చేసే వాడు. ఆ స్కూల్ నుండి భాస్కర్ 1993లో పట్టభద్రుడయ్యాడు. మెసేచుస్టేట్స్ లోని బెర్క్లే కాలేజ్ ఆఫ్ మ్యూజిక్ లో భాస్కర్ జాజ్ పియానో తో పాటు , బేండు నిర్వహణ కూడా నేర్చు కున్నాడు. వృత్తి పరంగా
[మార్చు]భాస్కర్ తన వృత్తిని బోస్టన్ పరిసర ప్రాంతాల్లో కీబోర్డ్ కళాకారుడిగా ప్రారంభించి, వివాహం సమయంలో వినోదం కోసం ఉండే బేండులలో వాయించేవాడు. 1970 దశకాల తేవర్స్ అనే ఆర్ & బీ బేండు లో సభ్యుడిగా కొంత కాలము పని చేసి, భాస్కర్ సెప్టెంబర్ 11,2001న న్యూయార్క్ నగరం చేరాడు. . అతను జామ్ బ్యాండ్ లెట్టీస్స్ తో కలిసి పర్యటిస్తూ, అదే సమయంలో, పాటల రచనపై ఎక్కువ దృష్టి పెట్టడం ప్రారంభించాడు. భాస్కర్ మొదటి కూర్పులలో ఒకటి గాయని గోపిల్ తో, కలిసి ఆమె ఆల్బమ్ క్లోజర్ (2001) లో ఉంది. ర్యాప్ సంగీత కళ ఆధారంగా, 'ది డాక్యుమెంటరీ' అన్న గేమ్ మొదటి ఆల్బమ్ లో ఒక పాటని భాస్కర్ కూర్పు చేశారు. .[10]
