ప్రత్తిపాడు రైల్వే స్టేషను (స్టేషన్ కోడ్: PTPU) అనేది ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రత్తిపాడు గ్రామంలోని భారతీయ రైల్వేలకు చెందినది. ఇది హౌరా-చెన్నై ప్రధాన రైలు మార్గము లో ఉంది. ఇది దక్షిణ మధ్య రైల్వే జోన్ యొక్క విజయవాడ రైల్వే డివిజను యొక్క పరిపాలక అధికార పరిధిలో ఉంది. ఈ స్టేషన్లో రోజువారీ రైలు లేదు.
చరిత్ర
1893 మరియు 1896 మధ్య, ఈస్ట్ కోస్ట్ స్టేట్ రైల్వే యొక్క 1,288 కిమీ (800 మైళ్ళు), విజయవాడ మరియు కటక్‌ల మధ్య ట్రాఫిక్ కొరకు ప్రారంభించబడింది.[2] ఈస్ట్ కోస్ట్ స్టేట్ రైల్వే యొక్క దక్షిణ భాగం (వాల్తేర్ నుండి విజయవాడ వరకు) 1901 లో మద్రాస్ రైల్వే ఆధీనంలోకి తీసుకుంది.[3]
