Questions about photos

Hi! Sorry to write to you in English, but I do not speak Tulugu. I mostly work on images and I would like to move as many as possible to Commons so they can be used on other language versions of Wikipedia. I noticed that you have uploaded a lot of photos. That is great!

I noticed that they were taken by different cameras according to the metadata. I also noticed that some are from blogspot.com. Are you the photographer of all the photos you uploaded?

Is it possible for you to add a link on wikipedia to your account on blogspot and also a link on blogspot back to your userpage on wikipedia? It does not have to stay forever. Just long enough for us to verify that you control both accounts.

I also noticed that some of your old uploads are licensed GFDL and cc-by-2.5. Would you be willing to relicense from cc-by-2.5 to cc-by-3.0 or cc-by-4.0? --MGA73 (చర్చ) 21:10, 30 మార్చి 2021 (UTC)

@B.K.Viswanadh, You have to go through all your uploads and update Summary(సారాంశం) field, with {{Information}} for your own works or {{Non-free use rationale}} for other works. Of course during this process, you can delete files if they are no longer being used, and export all free license files to Commons as well. You can look at my files, to understand the changes required. You have uploaded 480 files till date. I have made a subpage for you to review your files and add your review comments or update relevant fields.

Edits like Special:Diff/3166629 are good. Thank you. But perhaps you could also add an {{Information}} like Special:Diff/3166991? If you are NOT the photographer of that photo please fix my edit.

Edits like Special:Diff/3166678 does not work. Adding more templates to a license only work if you use {{సొంత కృతి}}. But the biggest problem is that you are probably not the photographer. It seems to be an edited version of దస్త్రం:RaaLLapalli.jpg so the author of that file is వాడుకరి:Chavakiran and the license have to be the same as on that file. But that file is a photo of a photo or what is called a derivative work. So the question is who took the phot originally and when was it taken. If it was taken 50 years ago it can still be copyrighted but if it was taken 80 years ago it may be public domain.
