చిత్రావతి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, కర్ణాటక ల గుండా ప్రవహించే అంతర్రాష్ట్ర నది. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌లో ఈ నది అనంతపురం జిల్లా గుండా ప్రవహిస్తుంది. ఇది పెన్నా నదికి కుడివైపు ఉపనది. దీని పరీవాహక ప్రాంతం 5,908 చ.కి.మీ.[1] ఇది వర్షాకాలంలో ప్రవహించే వర్షాధారమైన నది.[2]
