చరిత్ర
[మార్చు]ఈ ఫౌండేషన్‌ను 2013లో దియా కుమారి స్థాపించారు.[1][2] గ్రామీణ రాజస్థాన్‌లోని నిరుపేద మహిళలు, బాలికలకు వృత్తి శిక్షణ, విద్య, ఆదాయం సంపాదించే మార్గాలను అందించడం ద్వారా వారిని ఆర్థికంగా స్వతంత్రులుగా, సమాజంలో ఉత్పాదక సభ్యులుగా తీర్చిదిద్దడానికి ఆమె ఈ ఫౌండేషన్‌ను స్థాపించారు.[3][4][5] 2019లో, ఈ ఫౌండేషన్ సుమన్ రావు 'ప్రగతి' ప్రాజెక్ట్‌కు మద్దతు ఇచ్చింది.[6][7] ఈ ప్రాజెక్ట్ ద్వారా, గిరిజన వర్గాలలోని మహిళలు ఆర్థిక స్వాతంత్ర్యం పొందడంలో సహాయపడాలని సుమన్ ఉద్దేశించారు.[7] కోవిడ్-19 సమయంలో, ఈ ఫౌండేషన్ జైపూర్‌లోని వలస కార్మికులకు, ఐసోలేషన్ కేంద్రాలలో నిర్బంధించబడిన ప్రజలకు బిస్కెట్లు, సబ్బు, టూత్‌పేస్ట్, టూత్‌బ్రష్‌లు, బెడ్‌షీట్లు వంటి నిత్యావసర వస్తువులను, చేతి తొడుగులు, మాస్క్‌లు, శానిటరీ నాప్‌కిన్‌ల వంటి రక్షణ పరికరాలను పంపిణీ చేసింది.[8]

[మార్చు]2021లో, దియా కుమార్తె గౌరవి కుమారి ఫ్రెంచ్ డిజైనర్ క్లైర్ డెరూతో కలిసి ప్రిన్సెస్ దియా కుమారి ఫౌండేషన్ స్టోర్‌ను సహ-స్థాపించారు.[11][12] ఈ స్టోర్‌లో, ప్రిన్సెస్ దియా కుమారి ఫౌండేషన్ ద్వారా శిక్షణ పొందిన మహిళలు, బాలికలు తయారు చేసిన ఉత్పత్తులను ప్రజలు కొనుగోలు చేయవచ్చు.[13][14] స్టోర్ అమ్మకాల ద్వారా వచ్చే ఆదాయం మొత్తం ఫౌండేషన్‌కు వెళ్తుంది.[15] ఈ స్టోర్ మొదటి రిటైల్ అవుట్‌లెట్ 20 మార్చి 2022న జైపూర్‌లోని సిటీ ప్యాలెస్‌లో ప్రారంభించబడింది.
భాగస్వామ్యాలు
[మార్చు]2019లో, రాజస్థాన్‌లోని గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల మహిళలకు Airbnb హోస్ట్‌లుగా, వ్యవస్థాపకులుగా శిక్షణ ఇవ్వడానికి, అదే సమయంలో స్థానిక సంస్కృతిని ప్రోత్సహించడానికి ఈ ఫౌండేషన్ Airbnb తో భాగస్వామ్యం కుదుర్చుకుంది.[5] 2024లో, నిరుపేద వర్గాలకు మద్దతుగా ఫౌండేషన్ సామాజిక సంక్షేమ ప్రాజెక్టుల కోసం నిధులను సేకరించడానికి, జైపూర్‌లోని సిటీ ప్యాలెస్‌లో ఒక ఉన్నత స్థాయి నిధుల సేకరణ కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించడానికి ఈ ఫౌండేషన్ రాల్ఫ్ లారెన్‌తో భాగస్వామ్యం కుదుర్చుకుంది.[16] 2025లో, ప్రాజెక్ట్ శక్తి కింద గ్రామీణ జైపూర్‌లోని 100 మందికి పైగా నిరుపేద మహిళలకు ఉచిత కుట్టుపని శిక్షణను అందించడానికి, "సీవింగ్ హోప్" అనే సామూహిక కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రారంభించడానికి ఈ ఫౌండేషన్ అబెర్‌క్రోంబీ & కెంట్ ఫిలాంత్రోపీతో భాగస్వామ్యం కుదుర్చుకుంది.[17] బార్మర్‌లోని మేఘ్వాల్ ప్రజలు సాంప్రదాయ పూసల పనిని 2026 లండన్ క్రాఫ్ట్ వీక్‌కు తీసుకురావడానికి ఈ ఫౌండేషన్ MOI ఫైన్ జ్యువెలరీతో కూడా సహకరించింది.[18]
పోలో
[మార్చు]2024లో, ఈ ఫౌండేషన్ యునైటెడ్ స్టేట్స్ పోలో అసోసియేషన్‌తో కలిసి రాజస్థాన్ పోలో క్లబ్‌లో ప్రిన్సెస్ దియా కుమారి ఫౌండేషన్ లేడీస్ పోలో కప్‌ను సంయుక్తంగా నిర్వహించింది.[19][20] ఈ ఒక-రోజు టోర్నమెంట్‌లో టీమ్ USPA, టీమ్ ప్రిన్సెస్ దియా కుమారి ఫౌండేషన్, టీమ్ RPC అనే మొత్తం మూడు జట్లు పాల్గొన్నాయి, ఫైనల్స్‌లో టీమ్ USPAను 3-1 తేడాతో ఓడించి టీమ్ ప్రిన్సెస్ దియా కుమారి ఫౌండేషన్ కప్‌ను గెలుచుకుంది.[20]
