ఇంగ్లాండ్ తన ఇద్దరు సోదరీమణులతో కలిసి లీడ్స్, షెఫీల్డ్ మధ్య సౌత్ యార్క్ షైర్ లోని ఒక పెద్ద మార్కెట్, కళాశాల పట్టణమైన బార్న్స్లేలో పుట్టి పెరిగింది. ఆమె ఆరేళ్ల వయస్సులో బాలుర జట్టుతో ఆడటం ప్రారంభించింది, 3–4 సంవత్సరాలు జట్టుతో ఆడింది.
