రచితా మిస్త్రీ (జననం 4 మార్చి 1974) ఒడిశాకు చెందిన భారతీయ మాజీ స్ప్రింటర్.[1][2]
కెరీర్
[మార్చు]2000 ఆగస్టు 12న తిరువనంతపురంలో జరిగిన నేషనల్ సర్క్యూట్ అథ్లెటిక్ మీట్‌లో ఆమె 100 మీటర్ల జాతీయ రికార్డును 11.38 సెకన్లలో నమోదు చేసింది [3][4] 2013లో మెర్లిన్ కె. జోసెఫ్ ద్వారా దీనిని మెరుగుపరచే వరకు 13 సంవత్సరాలు ఆమె దానిని కలిగి ఉంది.[5] జూలై 5, 2001న బెంగళూరులో జరిగిన 100 మీటర్ల పరుగులో రచిత తన వ్యక్తిగత ఉత్తమ సమయం 11.26 సెకన్లను నమోదు చేసింది , ఈ ప్రక్రియలో ఆమె జకార్తాలో జరిగిన 1985 ఆసియా అథ్లెటిక్స్ ఛాంపియన్‌షిప్‌లలో పిటి ఉష యొక్క 11.39 సెకన్ల సెట్‌ను బద్దలు కొట్టింది.[6][7] అయితే, కొన్ని వివాదాల తర్వాత,[8][9] ఈ పోటీలో డోప్ పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించలేదనే కారణంతో అమెచ్యూర్ అథ్లెటిక్ ఫెడరేషన్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా (AAFI) జాతీయ రికార్డును ఆమోదించలేదు.[10] అయితే, 2000 నేషనల్ సర్క్యూట్ మీట్‌లో జాతీయ రికార్డు సృష్టించిన అథ్లెట్ల ప్రదర్శనలను వారి వ్యక్తిగత అత్యుత్తమ ప్రదర్శనలుగా పరిగణించడానికి అనుమతిస్తామని ఎఎఐఎఫ్ స్పష్టం చేసింది.[10]
1998లో జరిగిన ఆసియా అథ్లెటిక్స్ ఛాంపియన్‌షిప్‌లలో రచిత 4 x 100 మీటర్ల రిలేలో పిటి ఉష, ఇబి శైలా , సరస్వతి సాహాతో కలిసి భారతదేశానికి ప్రాతినిధ్యం వహించింది, ఈ పోటీలో ఆమె జట్టు 44.43 సెకన్లతో ప్రస్తుత జాతీయ రికార్డును నెలకొల్పే మార్గంలో బంగారు పతకాన్ని గెలుచుకుంది.[11] తరువాత 2000 సిడ్నీ ఒలింపిక్స్‌లో 4 x 100 మీటర్ల రిలేలో వి. జయలక్ష్మి, వినితా త్రిపాఠి , సరస్వతి సాహాలతో కూడిన ఆమె జట్టు మొదటి రౌండ్‌లో 45.20 సెకన్ల సమయం నమోదు చేసింది. ఆ జట్టు తమ హీట్స్‌లో చివరి స్థానంలో నిలిచింది.[12][13]
200 మీటర్ల స్ప్రింట్లో మాజీ జాతీయ రికార్డు హోల్డర్ కూడా రచితా. ఆమె చెన్నై 31 జూలై 2000న 200 మీటర్ల రికార్డును 23.10 సెకన్ల పరుగులో నెలకొల్పింది.[14] అలా చేయడం ద్వారా ఆమె పిటి ఉషా సాధించిన మునుపటి రికార్డును బద్దలు కొట్టింది. రచితా యొక్క 200 మీటర్ల రికార్డును తరువాత ఆగస్టు 2002లో సరస్వతి సాహా భర్తీ చేశారు.[14] 1998లో, భారత అథ్లెటిక్స్కు ఆమె చేసిన కృషికి గాను ఆమెకు అర్జున అవార్డు లభించింది.[15]
