శృతి గొట్టిపాటి పారిస్ లో నివసిస్తున్న భారతీయ సంతతికి చెందిన స్వతంత్ర జర్నలిస్ట్, ఎడిటర్. ఆమె సైన్సెస్ పో జర్నలిజం స్కూల్లో అధ్యాపకురాలిగా రిపోర్టింగ్, రైటింగ్, ఎడిటింగ్ బోధిస్తున్నారు.[1]
గొట్టిపాటి న్యూ ఢిల్లీ లో థామ్సన్ రాయిటర్స్ సంస్థకు ఇండియా రిపోర్టర్గా తన కెరీర్ ప్రారంభించారు.[2] ఆ తర్వాత ది న్యూయార్క్ టైమ్స్ లో పనిచేశారు.[3] ఆమె ది న్యూయార్క్ టైమ్స్, ఇంటర్నేషనల్ హెరాల్డ్ ట్రిబ్యూన్,[4] ఫ్రాన్స్ 24,[5] ది గార్డియన్, అల్ జజీరాతో సహా పలు ప్రధాన స్రవంతి మీడియా సంస్థల కోసం వ్యాసాలు రాశారు.[6][7][8]
2017లో ఆమె 'బ్రట్ ఇండియా' అనే ఇంగ్లీష్ సోషల్ మీడియా ప్లాట్ఫారమ్ను స్థాపించారు,[9] మే 2025లో 'స్పాట్ ఆన్' అనే ప్రజా ప్రయోజన వార్తా సైట్ను ప్రారంభించారు.[10][11]
ఆఫ్రికా, లాటిన్ అమెరికా ప్రాంతాల నుండి వెలుగుచూడని వార్తలను కవర్ చేయడానికి ఆమె ఐడబ్ల్యూఎమ్ఎఫ్ (IWMF), ఐఆర్పీ నుండి ఫెలోషిప్లను పొందారు.[9][8]
