సానియా షేక్
సానియా షేక్ (జననం 25 ఏప్రిల్ 1992) అంతర్జాతీయ షూటింగ్ స్పోర్ట్స్ ఫెడరేషన్ లో ఉమెన్ స్కీట్ (ఎస్ కె 75) (ఎస్ కె 125) ఈవెంట్ లో భారతదేశానికి ప్రాతినిధ్యం వహిస్తున్న అంతర్జాతీయ షూటర్.[1][2][3][4]
కుటుంబం
[మార్చు]సన్యా కుటుంబంలో 3 వ తరం షూటర్, ఆమె ప్రారంభ రోజుల్లో వేటగాడిగా ఉన్న ఆమె తాత లెఫ్టినెంట్ మొహమ్మద్ మతీన్ షేక్, ఆమె తండ్రి మొహమ్మద్ సులేహీన్ షేక్, ఆమె కోచ్గా కూడా పనిచేస్తున్నారు. సానియా సోదరుడు హమాజా షేక్ కూడా షూటర్ కాగా, ఆమె కజిన్స్ కూడా అంతర్జాతీయ షూటర్లు మహ్మద్ సైఫ్ షేక్, మహ్మద్ షీరాజ్ షేక్.
ఈ కుటుంబం కలిసి మీరట్ పట్టణంలో "మతీన్ గన్ హౌస్" అని పిలువబడే వారి స్వంత గన్ హౌస్ను కూడా సృష్టించింది.[5]
