స్విస్ సమాఖ్య రైల్వేలు స్విట్జర్లాండ్ జాతీయ రైల్వే సంస్థ. ఆంగ్లంలో దీనిని స్విస్ ఫెడరల్ రైల్వేస్ (Swiss Federal Railways) అని పిలుస్తారు. దాని జర్మన్, ఫ్రెంచ్, ఇటాలియన్ పేర్ల పొడి అక్షరాలను (ఎస్.బి.బి. సి.ఎఫ్.ఎఫ్. ఎఫ్.ఎఫ్.ఎస్) గా సూచిస్తారు. రోమాన్ష్ పేరు, వయాఫయర్స్ ఫెడరాలాస్ స్విజ్రాస్ ను అధికారికంగా ఉపయోగించడం లేదు.[1][2][3]
ఈ సంస్థ ప్రధాన కార్యాలయం బెర్న్‌లో ఉంది. మొదట్లో ఇది ప్రభుత్వ సంస్థగా ఉండేది. 1999 లో దీన్ని ప్రత్యేక స్టాక్ కార్పొరేషనుగా మార్చారు. దీనిలో వాటాదారులు స్విస్ సమాఖ్య, స్విస్ క్యాంటన్లు (రాష్ట్రాలు).
వినియోగ విస్తృతికి, సేవల్లో నాణ్యతకు, భద్రతా ప్రమాణాలకు గాను 2017 లో ఐరోపా జాతీయ యూరోపియన్ రైలు వ్యవస్థలలో ఎస్.బి.బి. మొదటి స్థానంలో ఉంది.[4] ఫ్రెంచ్ ఎస్.ఎన్.సి.ఎఫ్, స్పానిష్ రెన్ఫే వంటి యూరోపియన్ రైలు ఆపరేటర్లు అత్యంత వేగవంతమైన రైళ్ళ నిర్మాణంపై దృష్టి పెట్టగా, ఎస్.బి.బి. మాత్రం తన సాంప్రదాయిక రైలు నెట్‌వర్కు విశ్వసనీయతపైన, సేవల నాణ్యతపైనా పెట్టుబడి పెట్టింది. ప్యాసింజర్ రైలుతో పాటు, ఎస్బిబి కార్గో, ఫ్రైవేట్ రైలు సేవలను కూడా నిర్వహిస్తుంది. ఈ సంస్థకు స్విట్జర్లాండ్లో చాలా రియల్ ఎస్టేట్ ఆస్తులు ఉన్నాయి.
