అస్సాం శాసనసభలోని మొత్తం 126 మంది సభ్యులను ఎన్నుకోవడానికి అస్సాంలో 2026 ఏప్రిల్ 9న శాసనసభ ఎన్నికలు జరిగాయి. 2026 మే 4న ఓట్లను లెక్కించి, భారత ఎన్నికల సంఘం ఫలితాలను ప్రకటించింది.

నేపథ్యం

అసోం శాసనసభ పదవీకాలం 2026 మే 20తో ముగియనుంది.[4] గత శాసనసభ ఎన్నికలు 2021 మార్చి-ఏప్రిల్ మాసాలలో జరిగాయి. ఎన్నికల తరువాత, ప్రస్తుత జాతీయ ప్రజాస్వామ్య కూటమి శాసనసభలోని 126 సీట్లలో 75 స్థానాలను గెలుచుకున్న తరువాత రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేసింది, హిమంత బిస్వా శర్మ ముఖ్యమంత్రి అయ్యారు.[5][6] 2021 ఆగస్టులో, భారత జాతీయ కాంగ్రెస్, ఆల్ ఇండియా యునైటెడ్ డెమోక్రటిక్ ఫ్రంట్, బోడోలాండ్ పీపుల్స్ ఫ్రంట్ తన కూటమిని ముగించి, ప్రతిపక్ష కూటమి 'మహాజోత్' ను సమర్థవంతంగా ముగించింది.[7][8]

భారత ఎన్నికల సంఘం ప్రకారం, అసోంలో జరిగే శాసనసభ ఎన్నికల్లో 2,49,58,139 మంది ఓటర్లు ఓటు వేయడానికి అర్హులు. ఇందులో 1,24,82,213 పురుషులు, 1,24,75,583 మహిళలు, 343 మూడవ లింగం ఓటర్లు ఉన్నారు.[1]

బీజేపీ సీట్ల పంపకాల చర్చల్లోకి ప్రవేశించలేదు, అయితే యుపిపిఎల్ తో చర్చలు జరిపి, బోడోలాండ్ టెరిటోరియల్ రీజియన్ లోని సీట్లను బిపిఎఫ్ తో ఖరారు చేసింది.[10] 17 మార్చి 2026న, సీట్ల భాగస్వామ్య వివాదాలపై జాతీయ ప్రజాస్వామ్య కూటమి నుండి యుపిపిఎల్ నిష్క్రమించింది.[11] 17 మార్చి 2026న సీట్ల పంపకం ఖరారైంది.[12]

అసోం సన్మిలితో మోర్చా

నవంబర్ 2025లో, కాంగ్రెస్ నేతృత్వంలోని 8 రాజకీయ పార్టీలు బిజెపి, దాని మిత్రపక్షాలకు వ్యతిరేకంగా కూటమిని ఏర్పాటు చేసినప్పుడు అసోం సన్మిలితో మోర్చా పునరుద్ధరించబడింది.[17][18]

సీట్ల పంపకంపై సమస్యల కారణంగా 8 మార్చి 2026న రైజోర్ దళ్ కూటమిని వీడింది.[19] అయితే రైజోర్ దళ్ తిరిగి 19 మార్చి 2026న కూటమిలో చేరింది, అదే రోజు సీట్ల భాగస్వామ్యం ఖరారు చేయబడింది.[20][21]
