జిమ్పి జిమ్పి చెట్టు
ఆస్ట్రేలియాలో ఉత్తర తూర్పు ప్రాంతంలో వర్షాధార ప్రదేశాల్లో ఈ చెట్టులు కనిపిస్తాయి. డెండ్రోక్నైడ్ మొరాయిడ్స్, స్టింగ్ బ్రష్ అని కూడా పిలుస్తారు.[1] [2][3]ప్రపంచంలో అత్యంత విషపూరిత మొక్కలలో ఇది ఒకటి.ఇవి ఒకటి నుండి రెండు మీటర్ల ఎత్తు వరకు పెరుగుతుంది.ఈ చెట్టు ఆకులు విషపూరితమైనవి.[4][5] కానీ ఈ చెట్టు ఫలాన్ని మానవులు తినవచ్చు.[6]ఇటీవల అంతరించిపోతున్న మొక్కల జాబితాలో చేరింది.[7]ఈ విత్తనాలు వర్షాలు కురవడంతో నీటి పారుదల నుంచి వేరు చోటకు ప్రయణిస్తాయి. విత్తనాలు పూర్తి సూర్యకాంతిలో మొలకెత్తుతాయి.న్యూ సౌత్ వేల్స్ అంతరించిపోతున్న జాతులుగా గుర్తించబడినది.[8]ఈ మొక్కలు 1–3 సెం.మీ ఎత్తు పెరుగుతాయి. వీటి ఆకులు గుండె ఆకారంలో 12–22 సెం.మీ పొడవు ,11–18 సెం.మీ వెడల్పుతో కలిగి ఉంటాయి.

ఆకుల,కొమ్మల చాలా ప్రమాదకరమైనవి. ఆకులను తాకినప్పుడు తీవ్రమైన దురదను, బాధాకరమైన నొప్పి వస్తుంది. ఒకటి రెండు రోజులు పాటు ఈ నొప్పి ఉంటుంది.గాయపడిన ప్రదేశం ఎర్రని మచ్చలతో వాపుతో ఉంటుంది.[9]
