Bhimavaram Junction railway station is located in Bhimavaram of West Godavari district in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It belongs to South Central Railway zone under Vijayawada railway division.[1]

GDV-BVRM Broad gauge railway opened by Jagjivan Ram Railway Minister on 08.10.1961.
Classification
Bhimavaram Junction railway station is a ‘B’ category station and also recognized as Model station in the Vijayawada railway division of South Central Railway zone.[2][3]
