కోటిపల్లి రైల్వే స్టేషను గోదావరి డెల్టా మీద కొనసీమ ప్రాంతంలోని అంచులలో ఉంది. [1]
చరిత్ర
కాకినాడ-కోటిపల్లి బ్రాంచ్ లైనును 1928 లో మొదట నిర్మించారు, కాని 1940 లో రెండవ ప్రపంచ యుద్ధం ప్రారంభంతో తొలగించారు. భారతదేశంలో పాలించిన బ్రిటీష్ పాలకులు ఉక్కు కొరత ఎదుర్కొంటున్న సమయంలో, వారు ఎక్కడైనా వీటిని ఉపయోగించేందుకు ట్రాకులను తొలగించారు.
