ఖండము (ఆంగ్లం కాంటినెంట్, "continent") భూమి ఉపరితలంపై గల పెద్ద భూభాగాన్ని 'ఖండము'గా వ్యవహరిస్తారు. ప్రపంచంలో ఖండాలు 7 గలవు. అవి (వైశాల్యం వారీగా ('ఎక్కువ' నుండి 'తక్కువ') ఆసియా, ఆఫ్రికా, ఉత్తర అమెరికా, దక్షిణ అమెరికా, అంటార్కిటికా, యూరప్, ఆస్ట్రేలియా.^[1]
