మరణం

జాతస్య మరణం ధృవం. 

పుట్టిన ప్రతి జీవికీ తప్పని సరిగా వచ్చేది చావు లేదా మరణం (Death). తప్పించుకోలేనిది ఎప్పుడు వచ్చేదీ తెలియనిది మరణం. హిందూ పురాణాలలో అమృతం సేవించిన దేవతలు మరణం లేకుండా చిరావుయువులుగా ఉన్నారు.

కారణాలు

The leading cause of death in developing countries is infectious disease. The leading causes of death in developed countries are atherosclerosis (heart disease and stroke), cancer, and other diseases related to obesity and aging. These conditions cause loss of homeostasis, leading to cardiac arrest, causing loss of oxygen and nutrient supply, causing irreversible deterioration of the brain and other tissues. Of the roughly 150,000 people who die each day across the globe, about two thirds — 100,000 per day — die of age-related causes. In industrialized nations, the proportion is much higher, reaching 90%. With improved medical capability, dying has become a condition to be managed. Home deaths, once normal, are now rare in the developed world.

మరణాల సూచి (Death or Mortality rate) అనగా ఒక నిర్ధిష్టమైన జనాభాలో నిర్ణీతకాలంలో జరిగిన మరణాలు. ఇవి సామాన్యంగా 1000 మందికి ఒక సంవత్సర కాలంలో జరిగిన మరణాలుగా సూచిస్తారు. ఇది ఒక ప్రాంతంలో లేదా దేశంలోని ఆరోగ్యం మరియు మరణాలపై అధ్యయనానికి ముఖ్యమైన సూచిక.
