పురుషరథి పంచాయత్ అనేది ఒక రాజకీయ పార్టీ. 1951 జూన్ లో సింధ్ నుండి విభజన శరణార్థులు ఈ పార్టీని స్థాపించారు.[1][2][3] పార్టీకి కాకా తిలోక్ చంద్ నాయకత్వం వహించాడు.[1] పార్టీ ప్రధాన కార్యాలయం ఖరీ ఖుల్, అజ్మీర్‌లో ఉంది.[4]
పార్టీ సింధీ శరణార్థుల సంఘం కోసం సామాజిక, ఆర్థిక మెరుగుదలలను ప్రోత్సహించింది. నగరంలోని అసలు నివాసితులతో ఐక్యతను సూచించింది.[1]
1952 అజ్మీర్ లెజిస్లేటివ్ అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో పుర్షరథి పంచాయితీ ఆరుగురు అభ్యర్థులను సమర్పించింది. ముగ్గురు అభ్యర్థులు అజ్మీర్-I (సౌత్ వెస్ట్) ద్విసభ్య నియోజకవర్గం నుండి అర్జందాస్, పరాస్రామ్, అజ్మీర్-IV (టౌన్ హాల్) నియోజకవర్గం నుండి భీమన్ దాస్ ఎన్నికయ్యారు. పార్టీ పోటీ చేసిన ఇతర నియోజకవర్గాలు అజ్మీర్-II (తూర్పు), అజ్మీర్-V (నయా బజార్), అజ్మీర్-VI (ధల్దిన్ కా జోప్రా).[5]
