కరాటే (Karate) ఒక యుద్ధ కళ. జపాన్ భాషలో కరాటే అనగా వట్టి చేతులు అని అర్ధం. ఇది చాలా ప్రాచీన యుద్ధ విద్య.ఎన్నో మార్షల్ కళలలో ఇదొకటి. ఇది జపాన్ దేశములో పుట్టింది.
