Shri. K. Saibaba is a Former Ranji Trophy Cricketer from Hyderabad. He is a Double National, who has represented Senior State in two sporting disciplines – Cricket and Canoeing (Water Sports). He has over 35 years of rich experience in Sports into spotting and grooming young talent (especially among under-privileged children) in the society. Specially, note that he is a ‘President of India Awardee’ for his contribution to Social Change through Sports.
Shri. K. Saibaba joined Syndicate Bank under Sports Quota in 1978, worked for 22 years, eventually took VRS and started a Sports NGO - Sports Coaching Foundation (SCF) in 1991, an NGO-which was initiated under PPP (Public Provide Partnership) model with GHMC & Government at the most sensitive site at Masab Tank Slum Area of Hyderabad city. Since 1991, through the BITS (Build India Through Sports) Project of SCF, he miraculously transformed several dumping yards in and around Hyderabad into sporting facilities, which have ensured that sports activities are undertaken (especially among under privileged children and youth) round the year. BITS Project has so far connected with over 30,000 underprivileged children and youth all over India. For his unparalleled services to the society through Sports (for the last 24 years) through his Sports NGO– SCF, Shri. K. Saibaba received the “Best Sports NGO in India – 2015” (or the “Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Puruskar”) from the President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi on August 29, 2015.
Please note that over 2015-16, Shri. K. Saibaba received a record number of 6 National Level Awards from Prestigious and Diverse organizations, which also include the Top Rockefeller (US Based) honor for featuring among the Top 4 NGO’s in India.
