ఉదారవాదం
ఉదారవాదం (ఆంగ్లం: Liberalism) అనేది ఒక రాజకీయ, నైతిక తత్వశాస్త్రం. ఇది స్వేచ్ఛ, పరిపాలన సమ్మతి, చట్టం ముందు సమానత్వాలపై ఆధార పడి ఉంటుంది.[1][2][3] ఉదారవాదులు ఈ సూత్రాలపై వారి అవగాహనను బట్టి విస్తృత అభిప్రాయాలను కలిగి ఉంటారు, కాని వారు సాధారణంగా స్వేచ్ఛా మార్కెట్లు, స్వేచ్ఛా వాణిజ్యం, పరిమిత ప్రభుత్వం, వ్యక్తిగత హక్కులు (పౌర హక్కులు, మానవ హక్కులతో సహా), పెట్టుబడిదారీ విధానం, ప్రజాస్వామ్యం, లౌకికవాదం, లింగ సమానత్వం, జాతి సమానత్వం, అంతర్జాతీయవాదం, వాక్ స్వేచ్ఛ, పత్రికా స్వేచ్ఛ అలాగే మత స్వేచ్ఛ లాంటి అంశాలను సమర్థిస్తారు. పసుపు రంగు ని ఉదారవాదంతో ముడిపడి ఉన్న రాజకీయ రంగుగా పరిగణిస్తారు.
పాశ్చాత్య తత్వవేత్తలు ఆర్థికవేత్తలలో ప్రజాదరణ పొందిన తరువాత, జ్ఞానోదయ యుగంలో ఉదారవాదం ఒక ప్రత్యేకమైన ఉద్యమంగా మారింది. ఉదారవాదం వంశపారంపర్య హక్కు, సంపూర్ణ రాచరికం, రాజుల దైవిక హక్కు, సంప్రదాయవాదం లాంటి నిబంధనలను ప్రజాస్వామ్యం ఇంకా చట్ట పాలనతో మార్చడానికి ప్రయత్నించింది.
చరిత్ర[మార్చు]
లిబర్ అనే పదానికి స్వేచ్ఛ అని అర్థం. లిబరల్ అనే పదం 1375 కే వాడుకలో ఉంది. లిబరల్ ఆర్ట్స్ అనే పదం మనిషి విజ్ఞాన సముపార్జనకు కావలిసిన చదువు అనే అర్థంలో వాడారు.
