Usage

This template expands a name (first parameter) to link to the appropriate Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) station article, without displaying "(CTA station)".

An optional second parameter can be included to specify a particular line.

An optional third parameter can be included to indicate a branch.

The template can be abbreviated as {{cta}} (for CTA station).

Examples

{{cta|Racine|Blue}}	expands to [[Racine (CTA Blue Line station)|Racine]]
{{cta|Western|Blue|Congress}}	expands to [[Western (CTA Blue Line Congress branch station)|Western]]

Discretion should be used on whether to name the place itself or the station that serves it. In railway articles it is generally preferred to use the station unless specifically talking about the place, for example that మూస:Cta is on Division Street.

Almost all CTA station pages follow the link form of terminating with "(CTA station)".
