చరిత్ర
[మార్చు]గాంధీ ఆలోచనను సంరక్షించడానికి, వ్యాప్తి చేయడానికి ఈ ఫౌండేషన్ 1958 జూలై 31 [2] లో ప్రారంభమైంది. ఈ సంస్థ గాంధీ స్మారక నిధి నుండి 10 మిలియన్ రూపాయల విరాళంతో ప్రారంభమైంది. [3] దీని మొదటి బోర్డు ఆర్.ఆర్. దివాకర్, రాజేంద్ర ప్రసాద్, జవహర్‌లాల్ నెహ్రూ వంటి ప్రముఖులతో కూడి ఉంది. [4]

గాంధీ మార్గ్
[మార్చు]గాంధీ మార్గ్ 1957 లో ప్రారంభించిన ఒక పత్రిక [6] ఎస్.కె. జార్జ్. తర్వాత ఆయన స్థానంలో జి. రామచంద్రన్ వచ్చాడు . 1965 వరకు ఈ పత్రికను గాంధీ స్మారక్ నిధి ప్రచురించింది. దాని 10 వ వార్షిక సంవత్సరం నుండి గాంధీ పీస్ ఫౌండేషన్ దీనిని స్పాన్సర్ చేసింది. 1973 నుండి 1979 వరకు పత్రిక ప్రచురించబడలేదు, ఆ తర్వాత నెలవారీగా తిరిగి ప్రారంభమైంది. 1989 తర్వాత గాంధీ మార్గ్ త్రైమాసిక పత్రికగా తిరిగి ప్రచురించబడుతోంది..
