Narsampet is Located at 17*55’.0N, 79*54’0E it has average altitude of 221 meters Narsampet is a historical place. Before independence the administrative unit of Narsampet was officially know as Pakhal Taluka because of its Proximity to the area’s life-line the Pakhal Lakha, largest lake in the region built by Kakatiya rurels. Over the years the big village has grown into a town in habited by around 40,000people. Narsampet Is mandal Headquarter (Mandal Code-30) in warangal district. AP. The sanctuary is also harbouring marmals like panthers, hypensa, wolf, wild dogs, jackals , slothdeer, nilgal, porcupine, languor,reptiles like python , cobra, common, krait, monitor, wizard and crocodiles. Pakhal is situated about 10kms east of Narsampet and it is well connected by road passing there is frequent bus service from Narsampet to this place.
