చరిత్ర[మార్చు]
భారతదేశంలోని మణిపూర్ లోని హిందూ క్షత్రియ కులం. 1883 లో మణిపూర్ నుండి జనాభా గణన నివేదికలు మణిపూర్ లోయలో కొంతమంది మణిపూర్లు క్షత్రియ అని ప్రకటించారు. వీరు మణిపూర్ రాష్ట్రంలో మైతేయి తెగ, మరో 3 తెగల నుండి ఆవిర్భవించిన వాళ్ళు. క్రీస్తు శకం 1720 లో హిందూ మతాన్ని స్వీకరించి క్షత్రియులలో కలిసారు. వీరిలో ఏడు తెగలు ఉన్నాయి. మణిపురి క్షత్రియ ముఖ్యమైన జనాభా కలిగిన ప్రాంతాలు మణిపూర్లో ,అస్సాంలో ఉన్నారు . వీరు జంధ్యం ధరిస్తారు.[1][2][3][4]
