Usage
[మార్చు]This template generates a standard NFPA 704 hazard diamond with the given contents. Mouseover text provides an explanation of the fields. Parameters are:
- F= Flammability (top red): 0 (non-combustible) through 4 (ignites spontaneously)
- H= Health (left blue): Health dangers, 0 (harmless) through 4 (kills in very low doses)
- R= Reactivity (right yellow): 0 (inert) through 4 (highly sensitive explosive)
- O= Other hazards (bottom white). Various special considerations. Supported values for the template are as follows (note that not all are in NFPA 704):
- O=SA: Simple asphyxiant gas (e.g. Nitrogen, Helium, Argon)
- O=W: (
W) Reacts with water in an unusual or dangerous manner (e.g. Cesium, Sodium) - O=OX: Oxidizer (e.g. Potassium perchlorate)
- O=W+OX: Both
Wand OX - O=COR: Corrosive; strong acid or base (e.g. Sulfuric acid, Potassium hydroxide)
- O=BIO: Biohazardous (e.g. smallpox virus)
- O=CRYO: Cryogenic (e.g. liquid nitrogen, dry ice)
- O=ACID: Strong acid (e.g. Sulfuric acid)
- O=ALK: Strong base/alkali (e.g. Potassium hydroxide)
- O=RA: () Is radioactive (e.g. Technetium-99m)
