• |previous= may be left blank or omitted, in which case it is displayed as Terminus.
• |next= may be left blank or omitted, in which case it is displayed as Terminus.
• This template has four route descriptions, |route1=, |route2=, |route3= and |route4=.
• This template allows the use of four route colours, |col1=, |col2=, |col3= and |col4=. If all routes should be the same colour, |col= may be used instead.
  • If |col= is used in addition to any of |col1=, |col2=, |col3= and |col4=, there may be unexpected results: to aid in locating these errors, the page is placed in hidden Category:Incompatible parameters in rail line template.
