Vasu garu,
In chandassu page, you have said,for word amma, 'a' takes two lipta time and 'mma' takes one. Is it not the otherway round? 'a' is laghuvu and 'mma' is guruvu. 'a' shall take one lipta and 'mma' takes two. Can you please verify this?
Pardon me for writing in English. I do not know how to type Telugu on computer.
- no, that is correct one only. in amma a is guruvu and mma is laguvu only. for saMyuktaaxaraalu, ditvaaxaraalu the before that is the one really to be stressed, so it will be guruvu.
- but in anaa -- a is laguvu, and na is also guruvu.
