శోభా వారియర్ చెన్నైకి చెందిన భారతీయ పాత్రికేయురాలు, రచయిత్రి. "రామకుందం", "మేఘన", "జలవిద్య" అనే అనేక చిన్న కథలను మలయాళంలో ప్రచురించడం ద్వారా ఆమె సృజనాత్మక రచయిత్రిగా తన వృత్తిని ప్రారంభించింది. 1996లో లలితాంబిక సాహిత్య పురస్కారం (రచయిత, సంఘ సంస్కర్త లలితాంబిక అంతర్జనం పేరు మీద) లభించింది, ఇది తరువాత కన్నడ, తెలుగు భాషలలోకి అనువదించబడింది. అయితే ఆ పనితో తనకు ఎలాంటి గుర్తింపు రాలేదని భావించిన వారియర్ ఆ తర్వాత స్నేహితుల నుంచి నచ్చజెప్పడంతో జర్నలిస్ట్ గా మారింది. ఆమె ఎంటర్ టైన్ మెంట్ వెబ్ సైట్ Rediff.com అసోసియేట్ ఎడిటోరియల్ డైరెక్టర్ గా పనిచేస్తున్నారు.[1] [2][3] [4] [5]

వారియర్ నాలుగు పుస్తకాలను రచించారు, అవన్నీ విటాస్టా పబ్లిషింగ్ ద్వారా ప్రచురించబడ్డాయి. మొదటిది ది డైరీ ఆఫ్ ఎ జర్నలిస్ట్: ది లిటిల్ ఫ్లవర్ గర్ల్ అండ్ అదర్స్ (2013), ఆమె తన పాత్రికేయ వృత్తిలో అనేక మందిని కలుసుకోవడం గురించి 36 కథలను కలిగి ఉన్న ఆంథాలజికల్ పుస్తకం. హెచ్ఐవీ సోకిన పిల్లల ఆశ్రమాన్ని సందర్శిస్తున్న సమయంలో ఈ పుస్తకం ఆలోచన వచ్చింది. ఆ తర్వాత మహాత్మాగాంధీ జీవిత విశేషాలతో 'దిస్ విత్ బాపూగాంధీ పర్సనల్ సెక్రటరీ రీకాల్స్' (2016) అనే పుస్తకాన్ని రాశారు.[6] [7] [8][9] [10] డ్రీమ్ ఛేజర్స్: ఎంటర్ ప్రెన్యూర్స్ ఫ్రమ్ ది సౌత్ ఆఫ్ ది వింధ్యస్ ఆమె మూడవ పుస్తకంగా వచ్చి 2017లో విడుదలైంది. డ్రీమ్ ఛేజర్స్: విమెన్ ఎంటర్ప్రెన్యూర్స్ ఫ్రమ్ ది సౌత్ ఆఫ్ ది వింధ్యస్ (2018) ఆమె నాలుగవ పుస్తకం, ఇది మొత్తం 14 మంది మహిళా పారిశ్రామికవేత్తల గురించి వివరిస్తుంది. 1997 లో వారియర్ విద్యావేత్త అశోక్ ఝున్ఝున్వాలాను కలిసిన తరువాత ఈ పుస్తకం అభివృద్ధి ప్రారంభమైంది. ఓ హిందూ ఇంటర్వ్యూలో ఆమె మాట్లాడుతూ..
