హెరిటేజ్ జైలు మ్యూజియం జైలు మ్యూజియం లేదా సంగారెడ్డి జిల్లా జైలు అని కూడా పిలువబడుతుంది. [1] ఇది 220 సంవత్సరాల పురాతన కాలం నాటి జైలు, ఇప్పుడు మ్యూజియంగా మార్చబడింది. ఇది తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలోని సంగారెడ్డి జిల్లా సంగారెడ్డిలో ఉంది. ఈ జైలు పర్యాటకులకు రూ .500 ($ A9.90) ధరతో 24 గంటల పాటు ఖైదీ జీవితాన్ని గడపడానికి అనుమతిస్తుంది. చరిత్ర[మార్చు]
పి.డబ్ల్యు.డి. రికార్డ్స్ ప్రకారం ఈ జైలును 1796 లో నిజాం పాలనలో సాలార్ జంగ్ I ప్రధానమంత్రిగా ఉన్నప్పుడు హైదరాబాద్ సంస్థానంలో నిర్మించారు. [4]ఇది 2012 లో మూసివేయబడింది. [5]

జూన్ 2016 లో జైలు డిప్యూటీ ఎస్‌పి ఎం. లక్ష్మీ నరసింహ ఫీల్ ది జైల్ ఆలోచనతో జైలును మ్యూజియంగా మార్చారు. [6]
