గీతా బాలి (జననం హర్కీర్తన్ కౌర్ ; 1930 - 21 జనవరి 1965) హిందీ సినిమా నటి. గీతబాలీ భారతీయ చలనచిత్ర నటీమణులలో ఒకరు. [2] గీతబాలి రెండు దశాబ్దాల సినీ జీవితంలో 75 సినిమాలకు పైగా నటించారు. గీత బాలి ఫిల్మ్‌ఫేర్ అవార్డులకు రెండుసార్లు నామినేట్ అయింది. [3]

గీతబాలి తన నట జీవితాన్ని ది కాబ్లర్ (1942) సినిమాతో బాలనటిగా సినీ జీవితాన్ని ప్రారంభించింది సోహగ్ రాత్ (1948) సినిమా తో గీత బాలి మొదటి విజయాన్ని సాధించింది. బడి బహెన్ (1949) సినిమాలోలో నటించిన తర్వాత, బావ్రే నైన్ (1950), అల్బెలా (1951), బాజీ (1951), జాల్ (1952), ఆనంద్ మత్ (1952) వంటి సినిమాలలో గీత బాలి నటించింది. వచన్ (1955), మిలాప్ (1955), ఫరార్ (1955), జైలర్ (1958) మిస్టర్ ఇండియా (1961). సినిమాలు గీత బాలికి పేరు తెచ్చిపెట్టాయి.

గీతబాలి 1955లో నటుడు షమ్మీ కపూర్‌ను వివాహం చేసుకుంది., గీత బాలికి నటుడు ఆదిత్య రాజ్ కపూర్‌తో సహా ఇద్దరు పిల్లలు ఉన్నారు. గీత బాలి 1965 లో మశూచి కారణంగా మరణించింది. [4]

గీత బాలి 1930లో బ్రిటీష్ ఇండియాలోని పంజాబ్ ప్రావిన్స్‌లోని అమృత్‌సర్‌లో జన్మించింది [1] గీత బాలికి హరిదర్శన్ కౌర్ అనే అక్క ఉంది, హరి దర్శన్ కౌర్ కుమార్తె నటి యోగితా బాలి . [5] గీత బాలి శాస్త్రీయ నృత్యం, గుర్రపు స్వారీ గట్కాలో శిక్షణ పొందింది. [6]

గీత బాలీ తన 12వ ఏట ది కాబ్లర్ (1942) సినిమాతో బాలనటిగా తన సినీ జీవితాన్ని ప్రారంభించారు. గీత బాలి బద్నామి (1946) సినిమాతో ప్రధాన నటిగా సినీ రంగంలోకి అరంగేట్రం చేసింది. గీత బాలి దాదాపు 75 చిత్రాలలో నటించారు. [7] సోహగ్ రాత్ (1948) బడి బహెన్ (1949 సినిమాలతో గీత బాలి తొలి విజయాలను అందుకున్నారు. [8] [9]


1950లలో గీత బాలి స్టార్ హీరోయిన్ గా మారింది. గీత బాలి రాజ్ కపూర్‌తో కలిసి బావ్రే నైన్ (1950) [10] అనే సినిమాలో నటించింది. ప్రముఖ హిందీ నటుడు పృథ్వీరాజ్ కపూర్‌తో కలిసి గీత బాలి ఆనంద్ మఠం, సినిమాలో నటించింది. ఈ రెండూ సినిమాలు విజయవంతమయ్యాయి. [11]

దేవ్ ఆనంద్‌తో కలిసి గీత బాలి బాజీ (1951), జల్ (1952), ఫెర్రీ (1954), మిలాప్ (1955), ఫరార్ పాకెట్ మార్ (1956) లాంటి సినిమాలలో నటించింది. [12] [13] [14] గీత బాలి వచన్ (1955) సినిమాకు గాను ఉత్తమ నటిగా ఫిలింఫేర్ అవార్డును అందుకుంది. [15]

గీత బాలి తన భర్త షమ్మీ కపూర్‌తో కలిసి మిస్ కోకా కోలా (1955), రంగీన్ రాటెన్ (1956) వంటి సినిమాలలో నటించింది., కాఫీ హౌస్ సినిమాలో(1957) గీత బాలి పాట పాడింది. [16] గీత బాలికి దులారి (1949), నిషానా (1950), అల్బేలా (1951), అల్బేలి (1955), కవి (1955). లాంటి సినిమాలు పేరు తెచ్చి పెట్టాయి. వ్యక్తిగత జీవితం[మార్చు]

గీత బాలిని ప్రముఖ నటుడు షమ్మీ కపూర్ ముంబైలోని మలబార్ హిల్ సమీపంలోని బంగంగా ఆలయంలో వివాహం చేసుకున్నారు. [18] 1956 జూలై 1న వారికి పెళ్లయిన ఒక సంవత్సరం తర్వాత గీత బాలి దంపతులకు ఆదిత్య రాజ్ కపూర్ జన్మించాడు. ఐదు సంవత్సరాల తరువాత, 1961లో గీత బాలికి, కంచన్ కపూర్ జన్మించింది. [19] [20]

గీత బాలి 1965 జనవరి 21న 35 సంవత్సరాల వయస్సులో మశూచి వ్యాధి కారణంగా మరణించింది. [2] [21] గీత బాలి మరణానంతరం, షమ్మీ కపూర్ 1969 జనవరి 27 న గుజరాత్‌లోని భోజపరాకు చెందిన నీలా దేవిని వివాహం చేసుకున్నాడు, ఆమె గీత బాలి పిల్లలను కూడా చూసుకుంది. [22] [23]
