గ్రాడ్యుయేట్ రికార్డ్ ఎగ్జామినేషన్ (Graduate Record Examinations - GRE) అనేది యునైటెడ్ స్టేట్స్ లో అత్యధిక గ్రాడ్యుయేట్ పాఠశాలల కొరకు ప్రవేశార్హత ప్రామాణిక పరీక్ష.[7] 1949 లో ఎడ్యుకేషనల్ టెస్టింగ్ సర్వీస్ (ETS) చే సృష్టించబడి నిర్వహించబడుతుంది,[8] ఈ పరీక్ష ఉచ్చరిత తార్కికం, పరిమాణాత్మక తార్కికం, విశ్లేషణాత్మక రచన, క్లిష్టమైన ఆలోచనా నైపుణ్యాలకు లక్ష్యాలు, ఇవి సుదీర్ఘకాలం కొనసాగుతాయి, ఇవి పూర్తిగా జీఆర్ఈ యొక్క వెలుపల ఏదైనా అధ్యయనం యొక్క నిర్దిష్ట రంగం మీద ఆధారపడి ఉండవు.
