దీపా సన్నిధి (జననం రహస్య)[1] ప్రధానంగా కన్నడ చిత్రాలలో కనిపించే భారతీయ నటి. ఆమె 2011 చిత్రం సారథిలో తొలిసారిగా నటించింది.

వ్యక్తిగత జీవితం

రహస్య కర్ణాటకలోని చిక్కమగళూరు జిల్లాలో శశిధర్, నంద దంపతులకు జన్మించింది. ఆమె తన పాఠశాల విద్యను బెంగళూరులో పూర్తి చేసింది, మంగళూరులోని సెయింట్ అలోసియస్ కళాశాల పూర్వ విద్యార్థి.[2]

దీపా సన్నిధి అగ్రికల్చర్ ఇంజినీరింగ్‌లో మొదటి సంవత్సరంలో ఉండగా, ఆమెకు సారథి సినిమా ఆఫర్ వచ్చింది, సినిమాల్లో వృత్తిని కొనసాగించడానికి కళాశాల నుండి తప్పుకుంది. ఆమెకు మోడలింగ్‌లో కొంత అనుభవం కూడా ఉంది, జ్యువెలరీ డిజైనింగ్‌లో ఒక సంవత్సరం కోర్సును పూర్తి చేసింది.[3] తన నటనా జీవితంలో, ఆమె ఏకకాలంలో దూర విద్య ద్వారా ఆంగ్ల సాహిత్యంలో డిగ్రీని అభ్యసించింది.[4]

ఆమె సారథి చిత్ర బృందం నిర్వహించిన ఆడిషన్ పరీక్షలలో పాల్గొంది, రెండు రౌండ్ల పరీక్షల తర్వాత ఆమె ప్రధాన పాత్రను పోషించడానికి ఎంపికైంది.[5] సారథి షూటింగ్ సమయంలో, ఆమె యోగరాజ్ భట్ దర్శకత్వం వహించిన తన రెండవ చిత్రం పరమాత్మకి సంతకం చేసింది,[6] ఇది సారథి తర్వాత ఒక వారం రోజులకు విడుదలైంది. ఆమె చేసిన పరమాత్మ కూడా విజయవంతమైన వెంచర్‌గా మారింది.[7] ది బెంగుళూరు టైమ్స్ ఫిల్మ్ అవార్డ్స్ 2011లో దీప సారథి, పరమాత్మ చిత్రాలకు ప్రామిసింగ్ న్యూకమర్ ఫిమేల్‌గా ఎంపికైంది.[8] 2012లో విడుదలైన ఆమె చిత్రం ప్రీతం గుబ్బి జాను.[9]

2014లో, ఆమె మొట్టమొదటిసారిగా ఎందెందు నినగాగిలో సౌమ్యగా కనిపించింది.[10][11] 2015లో, కన్నడ చిత్రం లూసియా రీమేక్ అయిన ఎనక్కుల్ ఒరువన్‌లో ఆమె తన తమిళ చలనచిత్ర రంగ ప్రవేశం చేసింది, ఇందులో ఆమె ఒరిజినల్‌లో శృతి హరిహరన్ చేసిన పాత్రను పోషించింది.[12] ఆమె తమిళ అరంగేట్రం కంటే ముందే ఆమె తన తదుపరి తమిళ చిత్రం విష్ణువర్ధన్ యచ్చన్‌కు సైన్ చేసింది.[13]
