బెంజిడిన్ (Benzidine or 4,4'-diaminobiphenyl) ఒక ఆర్గానిక్ కాంపౌండ్. దీని రసాయన ఫార్ములా: (C6H4NH2)2. దీనిని ప్రయోగశాలలో సయనైడ్, రక్తం ఉన్నది/లేనిది తెలుసుకొనడానికి ఉపయోగించేవారు. కొన్ని వర్ణకాల తయారీలో ఉపయోగిస్తారు. అయితే దీని వాడడం వలన మూత్రకోశపు క్యాన్సర్ వస్తుందని తెలిసిన తర్వాత దీని స్థానంలో కొన్ని ఇతర రసాయనాలను ఉపయోగిస్తున్నారు.[2] అందువలన దీనిని జాగ్రత్త వహించాలసిన రసాయనాల జాబితాలో చేర్చారు.[3]
