- a caption to the image, e.g. describing where the picture was taken and towards which direction the camera was facing

- where the beach is located

- the coordinates of the beach

- which roads, footpaths, railway stations, etc. give access to the beach
- beach_length
- length of the beach
- beach_number
- beach number if allocated (e.g. by Surf Life Saving Australia - if so, enter the beach number with a link to the beach's page on the Beachsafe website)
- hazard_rating
- hazard rating given to the beach (e.g. by Surf Life Saving Australia). Enter the rating out of 10 with description in brackets
- patrolled
- whether or not the beach is patrolled by lifeguards or similar
- patrolled_by
- if the beach is patrolled, enter the name of the surf club that patrols the beach
- activities
- activities available in the beach
- last
- previous beach (e.g. according to Surf Life Saving Australia's Beach number system)

Microformat[మార్చు]
The HTML markup produced by this template includes an hCard microformat, which makes the place-name and location parsable by computers, either acting automatically to catalogue articles across Wikipedia, or via a browser tool operated by a person, to (for example) add the subject to an address book. Within the hCard is a Geo microformat, which additionally makes the coordinates (latitude & longitude) parsable, so that they can be, say, looked up on a map, or downloaded to a GPS unit. If the place or venue has "established", "founded", "opened" or similar dates, use {{start date}} for the earliest of those dates unless the date is before 1583 CE.
If it has a URL, use {{URL}}.
Please do not remove instances of these sub-templates.

When giving coordinates, please use an appropriate level of precision. Do not use {{coord}}'s |name= parameter.
