దేశం (రాజ్యం) అనగా అంతర్జాతీయ రాజకీయాలలో ఒక భౌగోళిక ప్రాంతపు రాజకీయ భాగం. దేశం లేదా రాజ్యం అనే పదాలను సాధారణ ఉపయోగంలో ఒక ప్రభుత్వం సార్వభౌమాధికారంతో పాలించే భూభాగాన్ని తెలపటానికి వ్యవహరించినా, వీటిని విభిన్న సందర్భాలలో విభిన్న భావాలను వెలిబుచ్చడానికి ఉపయోగిస్తారు.[1][2]
