తెల్ల జిల్లేడు (Calotropis procera) పుష్పించే మొక్కలలో అపోసైనేసి కుటుంబానికి చెందిన మొక్క. ఇవి ఉత్తర ఆఫ్రికా, పశ్చిమ మరియు దక్షిణ ఆసియా మరియు ఇండోచైనా ప్రాంతాలలో కనిపిస్తాయి. దీనిని హెబ్రూ భాషలో "సోడమ్ ఏపిల్" (Apple of Sodom) అంటారు. సంస్కృతంలో అలార్క లేదా శ్వేతార్క అంటారు.[2]
