ఉదగమండలం రైల్వే స్టేషను (ఊటీ రైల్వే స్టేషన్) అనేది తమిళనాడు రాష్ట్రం, ఊటీలో ఉన్న రైల్వే స్టేషను.[2] నీలగిరి మౌంటైన్ రైల్వేలో భాగంగా ఉన్న ఈ రైల్వే స్టేషను ప్రపంచ వారసత్వ ప్రదేశంగా గుర్తింపు పొందింది.[3]
చరిత్ర
[మార్చు]నీలగిరి మౌంటైన్ రైలు మార్గాన్ని ఉదగమండలం వరకు పొడిగించినప్పుడు 1908లో ఈ రైల్వే స్టేషను ప్రారంభించబడింది.[2] ఉదగమండలం రైల్వే కోడ్ UAM.[4] హెరిటేజ్ నీలగిరి మౌంటైన్ రైలు నీలగిరి పర్వతాల దిగువన ఉన్న కోయంబత్తూర్లోని మెట్టుపాళయం పట్టణానికి వెళ్ళడానికి దాదాపు రెండు గంటల ప్రయాణం పడుతుంది.[4]
