జానకి వసంత్ (జననం 1965) భారతీయ ఉద్యమకారిణి. ఆమెకు 2016 నారీ శక్తి పురస్కారం లభించింది.
కెరీర్[మార్చు]
జానకి వసంత్ 1965లో జన్మించారు. 1986లో పాన్ ఆమ్ ఫ్లైట్ 73 హైజాక్ అయినప్పుడు ఆమె అందులో ఉన్నారు.[1] మురికివాడల్లో నివసిస్తున్న పిల్లలు విద్య, ఆరోగ్య సేవలు పొందేందుకు సహాయపడటమే లక్ష్యంగా ఆమె 2003లో సంవేదన అనే స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థను స్థాపించారు.[2] వసంత్ అహ్మదాబాద్ లోని మురికివాడల నివాసితులతో కలిసి పనిచేయడం ప్రారంభించింది, 250 మంది పిల్లల కోసం ఒక పాఠశాలను ఏర్పాటు చేసింది, ఇది టీకాలు, ఆహారం, వర్క్ షాప్ లను అందించింది.[3]

ఆమె సాధించిన విజయాలకు గుర్తింపుగా 2016 నారీ శక్తి పురస్కారం లభించింది.[4]
