జాస్మిన్ కౌర్ రాయ్ భారతదేశం నుండి రెండుసార్లు జాతీయ అవార్డు గెలుచుకున్న స్వతంత్ర చిత్రనిర్మాత, వాండర్‌లస్ట్ ఫిల్మ్స్ బ్యానర్‌లో అవినాష్ రాయ్‌తో కలిసి షార్ట్ ఫిల్మ్‌లు, డాక్యుమెంటరీలను రూపొందించింది.[1] ఆమె చిత్రం అమోలి భారతదేశంలో పిల్లలపై వాణిజ్యపరమైన లైంగిక దోపిడీకి సంబంధించిన డాక్యుమెంటరీ. ఈ చిత్రం 2018 సంవత్సరానికి గాను ఉత్తమ పరిశోధనాత్మక చిత్రంగా 66వ జాతీయ చలనచిత్ర అవార్డును గెలుచుకుంది.
విద్య
[మార్చు]జాస్మిన్ న్యూఢిల్లీలోని లేడీ శ్రీరామ్ కాలేజ్ ఫర్ ఉమెన్ నుండి పొలిటికల్ సైన్స్ (ఆనర్స్)లో పట్టభద్రురాలయ్యింది. ఆ తరువాత పూణేలోని ఫిల్మ్ & టెలివిజన్ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ ఇండియా నుండి ఫిల్మ్ డైరెక్షన్‌లో నైపుణ్యం పొందింది. ఆమె బెర్లినేల్ టాలెంట్స్ 2015లో పార్టిసిపెంట్ డైరెక్టర్‌గా కూడా ఎంపికైంది.
కెరీర్
[మార్చు]జాస్మిన్ షార్ట్ ఫిల్మ్స్, పలు డాక్యుమెంటరీలు తీసింది. ఆమె సాంజ్, మీనా, స్కావెంజింగ్ డ్రీమ్స్ వంటి కొన్ని చిత్రాలు అవార్డులు గెలుచుకున్నాయి. అవి అనేక అంతర్జాతీయ చలన చిత్రోత్సవాలలో ప్రదర్శించబడ్డాయి.[2][3][4] ఆమె 'సాంజ్' అనే లఘు చిత్రానికి 52వ జాతీయ చలనచిత్ర అవార్డు (కుటుంబ సంక్షేమంపై ఉత్తమ చిత్రం), ఆమె డాక్యుమెంటరీ చిత్రం అమోలికి 66వ జాతీయ చలనచిత్ర అవార్డు (ఉత్తమ పరిశోధనాత్మక చిత్రం) వరించాయి.[5] ఆమె షార్ట్ ఫిల్మ్ రావి (2022) న్యూయార్క్ ఇండియన్ ఫిల్మ్ ఫెస్టివల్ 2022లో వరల్డ్ ప్రీమియర్‌ను ప్రదర్శించింది.
అమోలి
[మార్చు]ఆమె 30 నిమిషాల డాక్యుమెంటరీ చిత్రం అమోలిని ది కల్చర్ మెషిన్ కింద నిర్మించింది. మే 2018లో ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో ఇది విడుదలైంది.[6][7][8][9][10] అమోలి భారతదేశంలో పిల్లలపై వాణిజ్యపరమైన లైంగిక దోపిడీకి సంబంధించిన డాక్యుమెంటరీ.[11][12][13][14] ఈ చిత్రానికి రాజ్‌కుమార్ రావ్ (హిందీ), విద్యాబాలన్ (ఇంగ్లీష్), కమల్ హాసన్ (తమిళం), పునీత్ రాజ్‌కుమార్ (కన్నడ), జిషు సేన్‌గుప్తా (బెంగాలీ), నాని (తెలుగు) కథనాలు అందించగా, తాజ్దార్ జునైద్ సంగీతం అందించాడు.[15][16][17] [18][19]
